Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects and programmes spanning multiple business units.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and change throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering all phases of delivery.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, including working groups, steering committees and governance forums.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through effective governance, communication and engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Provide clear and timely status updates on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Ensure projects align with strategic business objectives and deliver the required outcomes and benefits.
• Identify and manage interdependencies across technology, operations and business functions.
• Monitor and control project outcomes, resolving issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical-path activities in a timely manner.
• Ensure delivery complies with relevant project governance, stage-gate controls and SDLC requirements.

Key Requirements

• Degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent qualification.
• 9-12+ years of project management experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience leading large-scale projects/programmes within private banking, wealth management or a similar financial-services environment.
• Strong knowledge of wealth management operations, investment products, services and business processes.
• Proven track record of managing projects end-to-end in a lead project management capacity.
• Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, stakeholder management, risk and change management.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide recommendations on complex matters.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident and self-motivated leader with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
