Competitive Intelligence Project Manager
Description: This position is responsible for working on a variety of technical problems of standard scope. Performs project management activities within a program team. Collaborates and communicates across multiple teams and functions within the organization.
Job Description
- Manage projects involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of Notebook, Desktop and Display competitive analysis from the team.
- Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets.
- Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel.
- Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Qualification
- At least 4+ years development project experience in PC industry. Strong technical understanding of products.
- Strong knowledge of the Engineering Development Process and with solid experience to manage daily workflow as required to meet departmental and customer requirements.
- Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment. Priority setting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional global stakeholders and deliver clear, compelling presentations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, leveraging strong Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as AI tools to enhance project planning, risk assessment, and decision‑making.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project management, ensuring alignment and execution across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Consolidate mechanical, electrical, and packaging engineering inputs into clear summary reports for customer presentations.
- Manage cost‑saving trackers and dashboards, and present insights to cross‑functional teams.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to drive timely execution of teardown and build plans.
- Document cost‑saving ideas and collaborate with stakeholders to track progress and implementation.
- Partner closely with team members and technical leads to ensure project objectives and deliverables are met.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio, and others)
- Takes regular direction from more senior level staff
- Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment
- Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, data analytics platforms) to improve project planning, risk assessment, and decision‑making.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications and presentations. PMP certificate is preferred
