Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Project Manager: Cloud Migration & Modernization, you will lead a project team to deliver a Data Center Migration or Cloud Migration solution to clients using the latest methods and assets. You will have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage Project Scope and Resources: Lead a project team and manage all project resources, including subcontractors, partners, and vendors, to deliver a Data Center Migration or Cloud Migration solution to the client.
- Establish Communication Plan: Develop an effective communication plan with the project team and the client to ensure regular project status updates and day-to-day direction to the project team.
- Perform Engagement Processes: Conduct engagement processes, including harvesting of intellectual capital, obtaining references, and forwarding recommendations to the opportunity owner.
- Manage Project Deliverables: Apply knowledge of Data Center Migration and Cloud Migration Services in the planning, tracking, change control, and risk management of the project to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide Client Status Updates: Provide regular project status updates to the client, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Data Center Migration Knowledge: Experience with Data Center Migration projects, including planning, execution, and delivery of migration solutions to clients.
- Cloud Migration Expertise: Experience with Cloud Migration projects, including applying knowledge of cloud services in planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
- Project Management: Experience in managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables for large-scale IT projects, including Data Center Migration and Cloud Migration projects.
- Resource Management: Experience in managing project resources, including subcontractors, partners, and vendors, to deliver IT projects.
- IT Service Delivery: Experience with IT service delivery methodologies and frameworks, including reference architectures and business measurements.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- In-Depth Knowledge of Reference Architectures: Experience with reference architectures and business measurements, including applying this knowledge in planning, tracking, change control, and risk management of Data Center Migration and Cloud Migration projects.
- Familiarity with Contractual Terms: Exposure to contractual terms and conditions, including managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables for large-scale IT projects.
- Understanding of Intellectual Capital Harvesting: Experience with harvesting intellectual capital, obtaining references, and forwarding recommendations to the opportunity owner, demonstrating ability to perform engagement processes effectively.
