The Role
The Project Manager will manage data and analytics projects for our clients. He/she will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects to meet client satisfaction and project financials.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and Lead Projects: Take charge of Data and Analytics projects from inception to successful completion.
- Scope and Timeline Management: Effectively manage project scope, dependencies, and timeline.
- Project P&L Management: Manage project resources effectively to meet the expected project gross margin.
- Risks and Issues Management: Identify risks and issues and proactively resolve/mitigate them.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the projects are delivered within the defined time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Efficient Execution: Oversee the performance of tasks essential for achieving efficient project objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage effectively with key stakeholders, manage, and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
- Team Development: Coach and develop project team members.
- Proposal Leadership: Lead the development of project proposal and ensure accurate cost estimation and adequate assumptions.
Job Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Project Experience: Have experience managing 2 to 3 end-to-end data warehouse, data visualization, and /or Analytics implementation. At least one of these implementations should have been in the Government or Education sector as a vendor project manager.
- Possess 5 or more years of experience in Data Management and Enterprise Business Intelligences implementations.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrate leadership skills, flexibility, and the ability to build strong relationship with clients, team members, managers, and senior executives in a consulting context.
- Problem-Solving: A self-starter with an analytical approach to problem-solving. Enjoy problem-solving across various domains and industries.
- Team Collaboration: Thrive in a highly energetic and competent team environment.
- Quality Expectation: Prioritize client satisfaction, focus on outcome and uphold quality standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both in written and spoken English.
- Only candidates who have prior experience delivering MINDEF projects will be considered.
- Strong familiarity with MINDEF security, governance, and compliance requirements.
