Construction Project Manager - Landed Residential

TCA Design & Build is seeking a practical, site-focused Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of landed residential projects in Singapore, including A&A, reconstruction and new-build houses.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from site commencement through completion and handover.

• Plan and manage construction programmes, manpower, materials and site activities.

• Coordinate workers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.

• Check all works against architectural, structural and M&E drawings.

• Monitor progress, workmanship, safety, cost and quality.

• Identify construction problems early and implement practical solutions.

• Plan work sequences and ensure materials, information and approvals are available on time.

• Review quotations, procurement requirements, variations and project costs.

• Conduct site meetings and follow through on all decisions and outstanding matters.

• Manage inspections, testing, rectification, TOP preparation and final handover.

• Provide clear progress reports and maintain proper project documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of construction project-management experience.

• Strong experience in Singapore landed residential construction is preferred.

• Able to independently manage structural, architectural and M&E works.

• Able to read and coordinate architectural, structural and M&E drawings.

• Strong practical knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and quality control.

• Capable of managing workers and subcontractors firmly and professionally.

• Proactive, organised and able to resolve site issues independently.

• Good English communication and reporting skills.

• Diploma or degree in construction, building, architecture, engineering or a related field is preferred.

• Singapore driving licence is an advantage.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can take real responsibility for site execution, programme, quality and project delivery-not only coordination and paperwork.
