Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Executive with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Design & Build industry. The ideal candidate must possess strong project coordination capabilities, sound technical knowledge, and practical site experience to manage projects from concept design through construction completion.
The Project Executive will play a key role in coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage assigned Design & Build projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource planning.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure project objectives are achieved within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Attend client meetings, site meetings, and technical coordination meetings.
Design & Technical Coordination
- Review design drawings, specifications, and construction details.
- Coordinate architectural, interior design, M&E, structural, and specialist works.
- Identify design clashes and propose practical solutions.
- Ensure construction drawings are coordinated and buildable before site implementation.
- Assist in value engineering and cost optimization exercises.
Site Management
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor work progress.
- Ensure workmanship complies with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate site activities and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Monitor contractors performance, productivity, and safety compliance.
- Ensure project documentation, reports, and site records are properly maintained.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Coordinate submissions and approvals with relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, codes, and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with Qualified Persons (QP), Professional Engineers (PE), and consultants where required.
- Ensure project compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
Procurement & Cost Control
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review quotations and support procurement activities.
- Monitor project costs and variations.
- Track material deliveries and project expenditures.
- Assist in project budgeting and cost reporting.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout project execution.
- Conduct inspections and monitor rectification works.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Manage defects liability period (DLP) matters when required.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Design & Build, Interior Fit-Out, Construction, or Project Management.
- Proven experience managing commercial, F&B, retail, hospitality, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
- Strong understanding of project delivery from design development through construction and handover.
Technical Knowledge
Candidate should possess practical knowledge in:
- Architectural and interior fit-out works.
- Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) coordination.
- Authority submission processes.
- Construction methodologies and sequencing.
- Building regulations and compliance requirements.
- Material specifications and construction detailing.
- Site management and contractor coordination.
- Cost control and project budgeting.
Skills & Competencies

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Possession of relevant safety certifications is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Singapore authority requirements and construction practices.
