Project Engineer
[Carrier Certification Engineer]
Responsibilities:
- Support issue Triage for Reporting failures from Conformance/Carrier cert. Lab (PTCRB/AT&T/VZW/TMO/JP)
- Test Results Collection
- Build-up/maintain the Internal Tool to enhance the work efficiently on a daily basis
- Develop Test script by Keysight PRT, R&S sequencer, XLAPI, MLAPI
- Frequent working in 3rd Party Lab in Xinzhuang to triage reporting failures (距 麥當勞 - 新莊中平餐廳 24 公尺)
- Co-work w/ Google US team occasionally (meeting)
Qualifications:
- Graduated from recognized universities w/ a Science or Engineering related degree.
- 5+ yrs working exp. in Carrier Certification.
- Hands-on using Keysight PRT, R&S CMX500 for 5G Testing
- Hands-on C++, Python and SQL programming language.
- Exp. w/ AI coding tools (e.g. Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Claude), AI tools such as Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.
- Good Problem-solving & Debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills in Mandarin & English. TOEIC >650, or equivalent certificate
Others:
- Bilingual capability is required (Mandarin & English).
Mandarin speaking/reading is essential skill in HCLTech Taiwan.
- Soft Skills: Good listener, sense of humor, open minded, respect, patience, resolving issues, etc.
- Exp. applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Can work independently (e.g. manage tasks to complete on time, etc.)

- Can adapt to fast-paced environment
- Working location: may adjust to Xindian per Google's request
- Taiwan APRC is required w/ expat.
