As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a motivated and capable Project Engineer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee project execution from commencement through completion.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Prepare and review project documentation, technical submissions, method statements, and work procedures.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work is carried out according to specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Resolve technical and site issues promptly while minimizing project delays.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
- Assist in procurement, material planning, and subcontractor management.
- Prepare project reports, variation orders, claims, and final documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years of project engineering experience in construction, infrastructure, utility, or engineering projects.
- Experience in electrical infrastructure, underground utilities, power cable installation, or civil works will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of project management principles and construction methodologies.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred but not mandatory).
