Project Controls Engineer

(Planner + QS / Claims Role)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedule and identify critical path activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including lookahead schedules.
• Cost Monitoring & Commercial Control
• Track project costs against approved budgets and monitor cost performance.
• Maintain cost reports and forecast final project costs.
• Variation Order (VO) Management
• Identify, document, and prepare Variation Order submissions.
• Track VO status and coordinate with project team for supporting documentation.
• Extension of Time (EOT) & Claims Preparation
• Maintain delay records and prepare EOT claims with supporting schedule analysis.
• Compile contractual correspondence and evidence for claims.
• Payment Claims & Contract Administration
• Prepare progress claims and payment applications in accordance with contract requirements.
• Monitor payment certification and maintain claim registers.
• Project Reporting
• Prepare project progress reports, cost summaries, and management dashboards.
• Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and site teams for accurate reporting.
• Documentation & Record Keeping
• Maintain project records including schedules, VO registers, claim logs, and cost reports.
• Ensure proper documentation for contractual and audit purposes.
