Project Co-ordinator II

Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research (HKIER) is looking for motivated individuals with a passion for education and a strong interest in project management to join the team.

The appointee will be assigned to the Quality School Improvement Project (QSIP), an organisation established under the HKIER in 1998. QSIP is committed to enhancing the quality of education, promoting teachers professional development, and driving school improvement through the provision of professional support and the dissemination of effective practices. The appointee will be responsible for (a) managing the administrative operations of professional support programmes under QSIP and undertaking project management duties (b) liaising with internal and external partners to plan, promote, and co-ordinate joint-school and territory-wide events (c) assisting in the preparation of proposals, promotional materials, reports, and project deliverables and (d) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 3 years work experience in project management, preferably in tertiary institutions or NGOs related to education (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (iv) strong organisational and problem-solving skills, together with a self-motivated attitude and (v) the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-tasking environment. Having experience in proposal and report preparation, and in producing promotional materials and project deliverables will be advantageous.


Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
