Project Co-ordinator II
The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support to the University Secretariat in legal compliance, governance, statutory and regulatory matters (b) providing logistical support to committees, meetings and events (c) assisting in daily operations of the office (d) assisting in the digitalisation of documents and (e) performing other projects and tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (iii) at least 2 years post-qualification work experience (iv) high level of computer literacy (v) strong organisational and problem-solving skills and (vi) a good team player with a meticulous mindset and self-motivation, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability. Prior work experience in office automation and legal support will be considered an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
CUHK is organized into nine constituent colleges and eight academic faculties, and remains the only collegiate university in the territory. The university operates in both English and Chinese, although classes in most colleges are taught in English. Four Nobel laureates are associated with the university, and it is the only tertiary institution in Hong Kong with recipients of the Nobel Prize, Turing Award, Fields Medal and Veblen Prize sitting as faculty in residence.
