Project Co-ordinator II
The appointee will work under the Education and Academic Affairs Team of the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine at the CUHK Shatin campus or the Prince of Wales Hospital.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) co-ordinating and providing administrative support to courses, education-related events and projects for the MBChB programme (b) supporting the Faculty's new initiatives in teaching and learning, including but not limited to interprofessional education and medical humanities (c) supporting teaching and learning, and quality assurance matters (d) liaising with the University's internal academic and administrative units, and external professional organisations and (e) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a recognised Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 2 years post-qualification work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (iv) excellent interpersonal and communication skills (v) excellent analytical and organisational skills with attentiveness to details (vi) strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently and (vii) good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
CUHK is organized into nine constituent colleges and eight academic faculties, and remains the only collegiate university in the territory.
