Department of Social Work
Project Co-ordinator II

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support to admissions matters of the BSSc Programme in Social Work (e.g. co-ordinating promotional activities and arranging admission interviews) and departmental operations (e.g. co-ordinating conference grant applications and annual meetings) (b) organising outbound student activities (e.g. study tours) (c) managing scholarship matters (d) liaising with internal and external parties and (e) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have/be (i) a good Bachelor's degree from a recognised university (ii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (iii) outstanding organisational, interpersonal and communication skills (iv) the ability to work independently and in a team and (v) detail-oriented. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Applicants are advised to submit copies of certificates showing that they have obtained the academic qualifications stated above.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
