Project Co-ordinator II(s)

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS), working with more than 200 ophthalmologists and visual scientists in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland, is committed to advancing patient services, research, and training and education to the highest quality in all major areas of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. We are looking for candidates to take up positions in our clinical and research programmes on disease entities, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other retina diseases. We are highly committed to supporting the career development of all staff members.

The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) supporting ophthalmic examinations and other research and outreach projects (b) maintaining project timelines and co-ordinating task assignments (c) assisting with data collection, processing, and analysis and (d) performing other departmental duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (iii) strong proficiency in MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other Windows-based software (iv) experience in using AI tools to streamline administrative tasks and (v) a tech-savvy, self-motivated, and proactive attitude, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract) commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
