Institute of Digestive Disease
Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of Officer)

The Institute of Digestive Disease () is currently seeking an Officer.

The appointee will be based at the CUHK office located within the Prince of Wales Hospital, and will be responsible for (a) assisting in daily administrative and office operations, including payment and procurement processing, reimbursement administration, record management and general office support (b) supporting the organisation and logistics of academic events, including departmental meetings, workshops, webinars and social functions (c) providing administrative support to the Institute's visitors (d) liaising with internal departments and external bodies and (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 2 years post-qualification work experience, preferably in administration of academic programmes of tertiary education (iii) fast and accurate Chinese and English typing skill (iv) good communication and interpersonal skills (v) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (vi) good knowledge of computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Zoom, Webinar, etc. and (vii) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation. Familiarity with Putonghua will be an advantage. Applicants with less experience are welcome to apply.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
