Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of Promotion Team Lead)

The Diversity and Well-being Lab under the supervision of Prof. Winnie Mak in the Department of Psychology is currently recruiting a Promotion Team Lead responsible for shaping the promotional strategies and managing a dedicated team to maximize platform reach, user engagement, and impact in promoting mental health awareness, for a digital mental health project, the Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) leading and co-ordinating a team of Well-being Promotion Officers to execute community outreach, moderate digital interactions, and ensure all promotional efforts reflect empathetic and ethical mental health practices accurately (b) crafting strategic promotional directions in close collaboration with internal teams (e.g., research, service, and product staff) to ensure cohesive, evidence-based, and impactful mental health messaging (c) developing and implementing social media and other public relations strategies to enhance platform visibility and user engagement (d) managing public relations enquiries and media requests, liaising with external journalists, broadcasters, and partners to co-ordinate interviews and secure positive press coverage for the project (e) collaborating with external partners, community organisations, and stakeholders to design and execute joint promotional campaigns that extend the project%27s reach (f) identifying and building relationships with key influencers to promote the platform and related values (g) managing and overseeing all social media channels, actively engaging with the audience and responding to messages and enquiries in a timely manner (h) crafting compelling social media messages and posts to promote psychoeducation and raise awareness about mental health (i) utilizing graphic design and illustration skills to create creative materials and schedule consistent social media posts (j) working in close collaboration with the Digital Marketer to ensure alignment of overall digital marketing objectives, including content planning and co-ordination and (k) analyzing social media performance metrics to refine and adjust strategies for optimal reach and engagement.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or related disciplines (ii) demonstrated experience in co-ordinating content management, social media management, and digital marketing (iii) demonstrated experience in digital mental health promotion (iv) proficiency in graphic design tools (v) knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEM, SEO, and social media advertising (vi) strong analytical skills to assess social media metrics and adapt strategies accordingly (vii) excellent written and verbal communication skills (viii) a good level of creativity, with an eye for design and detail and (ix) the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Having a strong understanding of mental health and psychoeducation is highly desirable.
