Project Co-ordinator II [carrying the job title of Officer (Finance)]The appointee will work in the Finance & Development team under the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine. Duties include (a) processing documents related to accounting/tender/procurement/travel expenses etc. and ensuring their compliance with the University guidelines (b) assisting in budgeting and performing financial management for special projects (c) collaborating with internal and external parties to provide procurement and administrative support and handle their enquiries (d) reconciling and compiling financial data and reports for management's review (e) handling administrative routine and maintaining filing system in the team and (f) performing other tasks as assigned. Overtime work and working beyond normal office hours may be required.Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 2 years post-qualification experience (iii) high computer literacy, including MS Office Suite (with advanced knowledge of Excel will be an advantage) (iv) proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English (v) attentiveness to details and accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility (vi) the ability to work as a good team member with good problem-solving skill and (vii) excellent communication skill, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.The University only accepts and considers applications submitted online for the post above via the CUHK career site.
