Project Assistant II
The appointee will be responsible for a project about end-of-life care for people with intellectual disabilities. Duties include (a) providing clerical support to project management (b) providing support to data management (c) assisting in activity promotion and organisation (d) drafting, editing, and preparing engaging social media posts to raise public awareness of the project and related end-of-life care topics (e) assisting in video production, preparation and co-ordination with production teams and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (syllabus B) OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, Attained or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects (iii) fast and accurate typing skill (iv) proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (v) a mature work attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills (vi) a self-motivated and independent work attitude, with the ability to work under minimal supervision (vii) at least 3 years post-qualification work experience, preferably in marketing or event organisation and (viii) strong time management skills, and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations with both internal and external parties.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
