Zhizhen School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences
Project Assistant II
The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative and operational support in the academic programmes administration, including admissions, programme operations, student academic matters and enquiries (b) supporting events/projects of the School, including conferences, visitor programmes, outreach activities, seminars and workshops (c) assisting in the daily office operation including procurement, payments, and inventory management and (d) performing other tasks as assigned. Working beyond normal working hours or at weekends may be required occasionally.

Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education or above (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese, English and Mathematics): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, Attained or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects (iii) good competency in IT, including fast and accurate English and Chinese word-processing skills (iv) a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (v) exceptional problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and organisational skills (vi) a mature and self-motivated work attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and (vii) the ability to work independently and closely as a team. Having more than 1 year of relevant work experience will be an advantage.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
