Project Assistant II (Programme)

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative and secretarial support to Taught Postgraduate programmes, professional programmes and short training programmes (b) liaising with internal and external working units (c) providing assistance in co-ordination of academic activities (d) providing assistance in daily administration and office operation (e) providing support to students on programmes/ courses and handling related enquiries and (f) performing other tasks as assigned. Overtime work and working beyond normal office hours may be required.

Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education or above (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B) OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, Attained or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects (iii) fast and accurate Chinese and English typing skill (iv) good knowledge of various computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (v) fluency in English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) and (vi) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation. Having post-qualification work experience in programme administration or at a tertiary institution will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for IT and language proficiency tests.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
