Project Assistant II (carrying the job title of Officer), Office of Undergraduate Studies

The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The Office of Undergraduate Studies of CUHK Business School, a vibrant and an energetic office, is looking for a high-calibre candidate to join the team.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing support to the planning, execution, promotion, and organisation of various initiatives, including youth entrepreneurship programmes, outreach activities/trips, seminars, training workshops and related projects (b) providing guidance and learning support to students (c) liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders, particularly with students, NGOs, and corporate partners, to ensure smooth project co-ordination and (d) performing other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours will be required occasionally.

Applicants should have (i) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B) OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, Attained or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects (ii) a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Communications, Education, or related disciplines (iii) fast and accurate Chinese and English word-processing skills (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) (v) the ability to work well both independently and as a team member, with strong attentiveness to details (vi) excellent communication and interpersonal skills and (vii) competence in IT skills and applications (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and other Windows applications). Having knowledge of basic graphic design, website maintenance, video editing, and at least 2 years relevant work experience will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
