Programme Manager, IMBA (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref: 536483) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor's degree, preferably with a master's degree, plus at least 8 years full-time work experience, and a minimum of 2 of which are in taught postgraduate programme administration, and/or admission management in a tertiary institution. They should be a self-starter with a positive attitude a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese) and the ability to multi-task, pay attention to details and work well both independently as well as in a team. Applicants with less experience may be considered for the position of Executive Officer.
The appointee will provide support to the Faculty's IMBA [Master of Business Administration (International)] Programme in rendering a wide range of student services, including but not limited to admissions, student visa processing, duty travel arrangements and organizing student activities. Key responsibilities including but not limited to the followings:
. support Executive workshops and modules in Hong Kong, overseas field trips, inauguration and graduation ceremonies, and other enrichment programmes
. collaborate with HKU/HKUBS global centres on IMBA activities for alumni and current students
. oversee the student enrolment process, including vetting application documents, responding to enquiries, reviewing applications, managing documentation, and maintaining accurate student records
. facilitate university registration procedures, visa applications, student card issuance, and other essential processes for students admission and study in Hong Kong
. assist with duty-travel applications for faculty interviews and other official purposes
. support academic coordination tasks, including monitoring students academic progress, preparing committee circulation documents, and issuing and releasing grades and
. perform any additional duties as assigned to support the faculty's operational needs.
The appointees will work at the Faculty's Cyberport campus and may occasionally need to work outside normal office hours and during weekends, as well as travel outside Hong Kong occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
