Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Define and ownership of power supply development plans/schedule.
- Collaborate between the R&D team and the factory team, for project transfer.
- Supervise, motivate the design team and manage the design activities, assign tasks to the team members.
- Negotiate internal resources, communicate with cross-functional teams, and manage to success.
- Manage PSU vendors/CMs and component suppliers, driving qualification, yields, and failure analysis and approving PCNs.
- Provide project status updates/summaries to the executive team.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (EE or related; 5+ years in power supplies, NPI, or sustaining programs.
- Working knowledge of PSU architectures (PFC, LLC DCDC), EMC, safety, reliability, qualification testing and failure analysis (8D/RCCA).
- Familiarity with datacenter rack/power and OCP norms (power shelves, PDU, connectors etc) is a plus.
- Experience with power supply development lifecycles is a must.
- Job skills: project management skills, PSU vendors/CMs management and Supply-Chain leadership. Strong communication with execs and customers.
- Ability to understand and collaborate with power supply R&D team and the factory team.
- Excellent time management skills for working within established timelines and schedules.
- PM Tools: MS Project/PowerPoint/ word/ excel.
- Communication skill in Mandarin and English.
