Molex is seeking a Program Manager to join our Optical Systems Business Unit (OSBU). In this role the successful candidate will be part of a world-class engineering team, responsible for managing and sustaining our portfolio of optical transceivers. The successful candidate will have specific responsibilities including maintaining product performance, driving cost optimization, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring ongoing reliability and quality in the field. The Program Manager will lead cross-functional efforts across global teams to address product updates, lifecycle management, and issue resolutions. This is a key leadership role in ensuring the long-term success and competitiveness of our products. Some travel is expected in this role.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain detailed program plans capturing resource requirements, schedules, budgets, product cost targets, manufacturing support strategies, risk mitigation plans, and other key sustaining activities.
• Drive the execution of the program according to the approved plan.
• Ensure compliance to OSBUs product development process.
• Tracking and reporting of key program metrics.
• Providing program updates to executive management and customers.
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor&aposs degree in any discipline.
• At least 6 years experience in program management
• Experience in optical transceiver, consumer electronics or medical device industries
• Demonstrable record of successfully running complex sustaining programs
• Adept at leading through influence, strong negotiation skills and an ability to form collaborative working relationships
• Strong planning ability, particularly when presented with ambiguity
• Knowledge of product life cycle management, business processes, and tools for project planning
• Proficient in both oral and written English
  
  

What Will Put You Ahead

• Masters or Ph.D. degree
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• More than 10 years experience in optical transceiver industry
