Position: Productivity & OpEx Assistant Manager / Manager

Reports to: Director, Taiwan Operations

I. Purpose of Position

To lead and drive plant-wide cost savings and productivity improvement initiatives. Under the premise of ensuring operational stability and quality, the role identifies optimization opportunities and implements systematic project management to control costs and maximize overall business efficiency.

II. Key Responsibilities

  • Holistic Productivity Integration: Responsible for integrating productivity optimization activities across various dimensions, including Trade, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Quality Control, and Supply Chain Management (SCM), ensuring alignment with the company's global strategic direction.
  • GPO Strategic Support: Deeply understand the Global Procurement Organization's (GPO) vision to support and implement saving models such as Value Analysis (VA), Value Engineering (VE), Purchase Price Variance (PPV), and proactively identify potential saving opportunities within local Taiwan resources.
  • Project Target Management & Collaboration: Collaborate with management levels to define and agree upon saving targets and amounts; identify appropriate project categories and lead cross-functional stakeholders to ensure all saving commitments are met on time and with quality.
  • Performance Review & Leadership: Prepare and deliver periodic productivity performance reviews and develop subsequent improvement plans. Effectively manage project team communication and conflict resolution to ensure high-efficiency output and successful change management.

III. Background and Skill Requirements

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in productivity improvement or cost optimization within a manufacturing environment (factory or processing site).
  • Domain Expertise: * 2–5 years of practical experience in materials management, warehousing, or supply chain saving operations.
  • 2–5 years of experience in cost-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) or quality improvement.
  • Digital Tools:Strong data analytical skills with proficiency in office automation software for professional reporting.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) with the ability to communicate effectively with global headquarters and international units.

IV. Personal Trait Profile

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to build trust in cross-functional environments and drive teams toward common goals.
  • Analytical Logic: High sensitivity to data with the ability to identify core issues from complex information and propose solutions.
  • Organizational Management: Strong project planning and execution skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
