Job Description
- Manage day-to-day production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
- Support new product introductions, process transfers, and manufacturing scale-up projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements, particularly in hazardous and specialty gas manufacturing environments.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to optimize plant performance.
- Develop production supervisors and frontline leaders through coaching and capability building.
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics and implement actions to improve operational performance.
- Participate in capacity expansion and operational excellence programs to support future business growth.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
- Experience within specialty gases, electronic chemicals, semiconductor materials, industrial gases, or other hazardous chemical manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of process safety management, toxic gas handling, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of driving manufacturing improvements and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting NPI, process transfer, or production ramp-up activities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
- Fluent Mandarin communication skills; English proficiency is an advantage.
