We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused Product Manager ready to drive transformational change and maximize Intenza's global impact. This role is the nexus of our global business, serving as the primary link between R&D, product, sales, and the voice of our high-profile clients worldwide. You will be empowered to define and implement best-in-class product development processes, instill a data-driven product culture, and serve as a core driver of our brand acceleration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Market Insight
- Define and champion the mid-to-long-term product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Intenza brand narrative and specific market differentiation opportunities in key global segments.
- Own the financial success of the product line, setting target COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), defining global pricing strategies, and driving margin maximization in partnership with Sales and Finance teams.Facilitate the adoption of new technologies and design concepts to enhance product competitiveness.
- Proactively identify and drive the integration of market-leading technologies and design concepts that reinforce our premium positioning and deliver quantifiable user value.
2. Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Translate strategy into clear Market Requirement Document (MRD) and manage execution from concept to launch.
- Partner with R&D to track cost, schedule, and feature trade-offs within defined budgets.
- Support QA and Planning to ensure compliance, reliability, and service readiness.
- Implement and manage a disciplined Stage-Gate product development process to minimize delays, control costs, and ensure predictable, on-time delivery of products that meet all performance, quality, and certification requirements.
3. Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as the critical communication conduit, translating raw global Sales and Market feedback into rigorous, quantified Market Requirements Documents (MRD) and technical Product Specification Documents (PSD) for the R&D and Industrial Design (ID) teams.
- Collaborate with marketing team on launch assets, product positioning, and sales training.
- Facilitate decision-making by using data and structured reasoning to align stakeholders.
4. Post-Launch Performance & Improvement
- Establish, monitor, and report on key Product Health KPIs to inform continuous improvement and portfolio strategy adjustments.
- Integrate service feedback into continuous product improvement cycles.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and portfolio rationalization.
- Conduct regular audits of the existing portfolio, making data-driven recommendations for product refresh, cost optimization, and strategic End-of-Life (EOL) planning.
Requirements
- Product Strategy Planning: Ability to define the mid-to-long-term direction and differentiation strategy of the product line based on market trends, brand positioning, and technology development
- Cross-Functional Integration & Communication: Capable of effectively aligning and coordinating across Design, R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Service departments to achieve consensus and ensure timely execution.
- Fitness Equipment Industry Knowledge: Familiar with commercial fitness equipment (both Cardio and Strength), including user needs, certification standards (i.e.ASTM / EN957), and market applications.
- Project Management & Problem-Solving: Skilled at tracking development progress, controlling costs, mitigating risks, and driving successful cross-departmental project implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or Business.
- 3-6 years of experience in Product Management, highly preferred in complex hardware, durable goods, industrial B2B, or commercial fitness equipment.
- Proven track record in Product Portfolio Management (PPM), including defining business cases, financial modeling (P&L, COGS, pricing), and driving margin performance.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling ability (Excel, cost analysis, pricing models).
- Fluent Mandarin for cross-functional communication.
- Experience working with international R&D and marketing teams preferred.
