MAIN FUNCTION:
Lead the product strategy and execution for the Workstation portfolio. This role focuses on defining high-performance, compact, and ruggedized computing platforms designed for decentralized AI inference, professional visualization, and industrial automation. Act as the bridge between R&D, industrial design, and external silicon partners (e.g., NVIDIA) to deliver market-leading hardware that thrives in environments outside traditional data centers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field (Technical background is essential).
- 7+ years of experience in Hardware Product Management, with specific expertise in Workstations, IPC (Industrial PC), or Embedded Systems.
- Strong analytical skills for market trend forecasting and competitive benchmarking.
- Proven track record of managing complex NPI (New Product Introduction) cycles and BOM management.
- Strong understanding of NVIDIA RTX professional GPU roadmap and AI acceleration at the edge (e.g., TensorRT, CUDA).
- Familiar with industrial certifications (MIL-STD, IP, CE/FCC) and long-lifecycle product management, enabling informed decision-making and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical features into business value.
- Ability and willingness to travel about 10%.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define hardware specifications for Workstations, balancing CPU/GPU performance with physical constraints (dimensions, noise levels, and power consumption).
- Collaborate with engineering to oversee innovative cooling designs (e.g., vapor chambers, heat pipes) to ensure 24/7 stability in edge environments.
- Ensure the hardware platform is optimized for edge AI workloads, including support for multiple camera inputs, low-latency networking, and NPU/GPU integration.
- Lead the selection of Edge-Grade components (wide-temperature RAM/SSD, high-endurance capacitors) and manage the full Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Work with ID teams to create functional yet professional chassis designs that support flexible mounting (VESA, DIN-rail, or Rack-mount).
- Coordinate with Quality and Compliance teams to ensure products meet specific vertical requirements (e.g., Medical, Automotive, or Industrial automation standards).
- Manage the Long-Life roadmap, ensuring component consistency and revision control for enterprise and industrial customers.
- Partner with ISVs to certify Edge Workstations and ensure seamless support for containerized software stacks.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for NVIDIA's Professional Visualization and Embedded business units for roadmap alignment.
- Speak at industry events as necessary (e.g. Corporate or Distribution events)
- Monitor product cost structure and pricing strategy to achieve category revenue and margin targets.
- Willingness to travel to key industry events (10%)
