Product Manager

HKT Financial Services, the FinTech division of HKT Group, oversees a diverse range of service offerings, including mobile payments, merchant services, O2O solutions, digital lending, and more. As a vital component of HKT's digital ecosystem, we strive to connect consumers and merchants while promoting financial inclusion, innovation, and enhanced customer experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of product strategic initiatives and new features. You will oversee mobile payment-related projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, quality standards, timelines, and dependencies as defined by subject matter experts and relevant business stakeholders.

Your Role:

Launch new product and app functionality initiatives designed to provide optimal features and usability in mobile payment services.

• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights for product development.
• Develop innovative mobile payment solutions aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Champion user-centric design, ensuring intuitive features and seamless customer experiences.
• Collaborate with IT, vendors, design, marketing, and control functions to deliver business objectives.
• Manage vendor performance and contr actual compliance.
• Define product requirements, evaluate specifications, and lead end-to-end UAT processes.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch, review, and continuous improvement.
• Track KPIs, monitor product performance, and drive enhancements.
• Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Drive initiatives independently, managing priorities, risks, and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate business, operational, regulatory, and technology risks.
• Proactively manage project dependencies, escalate issues, and implement mitigation plans.
• Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.

To succeed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years experience in product management, digital, FinTech, or technology environments.
• Strong background in digital banking, e-business, mobile payments, or card schemes.
• Experience in Web3, blockchain, or digital assets is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery, UX, and technology development processes.
• Proven success in launching and managing financial products end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience in UAT management and post-implementation reviews.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and industry trends.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile and analytics tools (e.g., JIRA, Google Analytics).
• Demonstrated people leadership with the ability to coach and develop teams.
• Strong risk management mindset and ability to balance customer experience with business growth.
• Able to influence senior stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and make sound decisions independently.
