Product Development Team Lead
Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Product Development Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food, chemical, microbiology, nutrition, and product development, with a proven track record of success in managing and leading a team of product development professionals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing product development strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and market demands, and providing expert guidance to our cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
. Develop and implement product development strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality instant noodles and beverages that meet customer needs and market demands.
. Stay up-to-date on the latest product development trends and technologies in the instant noodle and beverage industry.
. Lead and manage a team of product development professionals, providing them with training, coaching, and mentorship.
. Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, with a focus on selecting and optimizing raw materials for instant noodles and beverages.
. Conduct product testing and evaluation to ensure that instant noodles and beverages meet customer expectations, with a focus on optimizing raw material use for taste, texture, and nutritional value.
. Provide expert product development guidance to cross-functional teams, including insights into raw material selection and functionality.
. Represent the company in interactions with external partners, such as suppliers and manufacturers of raw materials for instant noodles and beverage.
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or Nutrition.
. At least 5 years of experience in product development, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing a team of product development professionals.
. In-depth knowledge of raw materials used in instant noodles and beverages, including flours, starches, fats and oils, flavors, sweeteners, and functional ingredients.
. Strong understanding of applicable product development methodologies and processes.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
. Bilingual to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates and international partners.
