Job Description
- Lead the design and development of high-speed cable assemblies, connectors, and cable systems from concept to production.
- Partner with customers to define technical requirements and deliver customized interconnect solutions.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, material specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate product validation, testing, qualification activities, and prototype evaluation to ensure performance and compliance.
- Support manufacturing, sales, and product management teams with technical expertise, cost analysis, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the design and development of high-speed connectors, cable assemblies, or related interconnect products.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a structured engineering approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work directly with customers.
- Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment and managing multiple technical projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, testing methodologies, and product lifecycle management is advantageous.
- Passion for innovation and keeping pace with emerging technologies within the connectivity and interconnect industry.
