Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Manager to oversee procurement and vendor management activities for our managed services business. This role will drive purchasing strategies, manage supplier relationships, ensure timely delivery of resources, and support cost optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with vendors, distributors, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure service quality.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities for hardware, software, and services.
  • Maintain procurement processes, policies, and documentation.
  • Track procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain and vendor-related issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to support business objectives.

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of procurement or vendor management experience.
  • Experience in IT or managed services environments is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools such as SAP Ariba or equivalent systems.
  • Understanding of IT procurement, including hardware, software, and licensing models.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related field.
  • CIPS, CPSM, or relevant procurement certifications are an added advantage.
