Job Description

Position: Procurement Manager

Location: East

Working time: Mon - Fri

Salary: up to SGD $6500

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement operations for Singapore OEM and Malaysia plants, providing guidance and support to the team.
  • Drive procurement KPIs including OTD, PPV, delinquency management, and supplier performance.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, supplier consolidation, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manage regional/global commodity sourcing activities and achieve material cost targets.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and lead supplier improvement and corrective action programs.
  • Handle commercial negotiations to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives while minimizing risks.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing to support sourcing decisions.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations on supplier qualification and NPI activities.
  • Support procurement team development, sourcing activities, and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications


  • 5–10 years of Supply Chain / Procurement experience in OEM, aerospace, or engineer-to-order manufacturing environments.
  • Proven leadership experience with strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Good understanding of production flow, inventory management, and sourcing processes.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • APICS / ISM / Supply Chain certifications are an advantage.
