We are seeking a proactive and reliable procurement/ sourcing agent to support our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will leverage industry knowledge and supplier networks to identify, evaluate, and secure high-quality parts and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research to identify and evaluate multiple suppliers and manufacturers specializing in electronics, CNC and machinery.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement efficiency.
- Manage the procurement process for electronic and machinery parts, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities and supplier evaluations.
- Monitor market trends, new technologies, and supplier performance to ensure competitive advantage.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong interest or background in electronics and machinery, and understanding how they function, is highly desirable.
- The candidate must possess excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English. Mandarin is a plus.
- Established connections with electronics and machinery manufacturers are a significant advantage.
- Proven track record of integrity, confidentiality, and trustworthiness in handling sensitive business information.
- A high level of independence, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Demonstrates accountability and reliability; someone who walks the talk and takes initiative.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs and act decisively.
- Must be based in either China, Taiwan, Hong Kong
