Key Responsibilities
Supplier Management & Risk Mitigation
Partner with sourcing teams to support supplier onboarding, qualification, and ongoing performance management.
Develop risk assessment frameworks to monitor financial, operational, and delivery risks across critical suppliers.
Drive supplier performance improvements and ensure alignment with GMI Cloud's operational and quality standards.
Procure-to-Delivery Execution
Own execution from purchase order issuance through equipment delivery and site readiness.
Monitor manufacturing progress, logistics timelines, and installation readiness to ensure alignment with project schedules.
Manage escalations related to manufacturing delays, logistics challenges, or delivery risks.
Data Integrity & Operational Visibility
Maintain accurate procurement and delivery data across ERP and project management systems, ensuring a reliable single source of truth.
Track key procurement and supplier performance metrics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD) and equipment quality upon site receipt.
Provide regular reporting and risk updates to leadership to support timely decision-making.
Operational Governance
Resolve day-to-day operational issues such as shipping damage, incomplete shipments, or documentation gaps while minimizing project impact.
Ensure consistent adoption of procurement and project governance standards across all sites.
Validate supplier milestone invoices against actual delivery progress to ensure financial accuracy.
Lifecycle & Post-Delivery Support
Support sites with warranty management, service agreements, and maintenance coordination.
Manage spare parts planning and supplier accountability for ongoing equipment performance.
Capture field feedback and integrate lessons learned into future sourcing strategies and supplier engagements.
About the Role
The Procurement & MEP Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of procurement operations for critical data center infrastructure equipment. You will ensure supplier performance, maintain data integrity, and resolve operational challenges across multi-million-dollar MEP assets.
Success in this role requires strong operational discipline, supplier engagement, and the ability to manage complex supply chain execution in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Who You Are
5-10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations supporting large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or data center projects
Experience managing long-lead MEP equipment such as generators, switchgear, chillers, or transformers
Strong background in supplier performance management and operational risk mitigation
Proven ability to build and maintain procurement reporting, metrics, and tracking systems
Experience working cross-functionally with sourcing, PMO, engineering, finance, and construction teams
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, or Construction Management
Preferred
Experience supporting hyperscale or AI-focused data center deployments
Familiarity with ERP systems and digital procurement tools
Experience working with global or multi-region supply chains
