Job Description

The role is responsible for analyzing production performance data, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing performance reports and recommendations to the Production Manager. It also leads continuous improvement and change management initiatives, coordinates factory projects, supports strategic planning processes, and ensures timely project execution and 5S3R implementation.

As a Process Control Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinate and monitor month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting of NTM yield and other key performance indicators by the sixth day of each month. Analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and present actionable insights to department leaders and the Management Team.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support Continuous Improvement initiatives, including IWS IPS/UPS projects, while providing guidance to project leaders when needed. Lead and promote 5S3R activities across the Tainan factory in collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure production and machinery performance data is accurately recorded and maintained within reporting systems on a daily basis. Analyze production issues, prepare performance comparisons and improvement presentations, and provide reliable data to support decision-making.
  • Collect and analyze historical performance data, creating clear charts and reports to support target-setting and strategic planning activities. Perform KPI calculations, maintain accurate GSCA KPI system records, and support ASP/SDDS processes by coordinating information from multiple departments.
  • Administer and monitor the factory-wide Change Management DMS process, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance with re-application requirements. Drive employee engagement by coaching teams on sub-theme creation, re-applications, and participation in continuous improvement programs through effective recognition initiatives.
  • Manage and support key business systems, including GSCA KPI, GSCA Machinery (SDE & MDC), MOM, SAP HANA, Track & Trace, GLA, and LAS, serving as the primary point of contact for system-related matters. Collaborate with global stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues, enhance system functionality, and contribute improvement recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment.
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Proficient in system utilization, process management, communication, and time management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
