The role support production operations to ensure planned orders are completed in compliance with quality standards, specifications, and performance targets, while monitoring tobacco yield, NTM yield, and key production KPIs. Maintain accurate production data and inventory records, and provide timely reports and analysis to support operational performance and decision-making.
As a Process Control Associate you will be responsible for the following:
- Support the Annual Strategy Planning (ASP) and SDDS processes for the Production Team and Leadership Pillar by providing data-driven analysis and forecasting. Prepare performance insights and target-setting recommendations using key indicators such as OEE, MTBF, and other operational metrics.
- Administer and maintain production reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely submission across global platforms while supporting issue resolution and system improvements. Analyze production performance, monitor downtime records, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support operational and management decision-making.
- Lead production-related inventory counting and month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate stock reconciliation and reporting. Collaborate with Warehouse, Finance, and Engineering teams while managing SAP transactions to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
- Support the analysis of production resource consumption, including tobacco and non-tobacco materials, to monitor costs and optimize yields. Prepare waste, reject, and loss analysis reports to identify improvement opportunities and support KPI reporting initiatives.
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives within Tobacco Processing and Make & Pack operations, supporting IWS Pillar activities and change management programs. Drive process optimization efforts, encourage employee engagement, and proactively initiate projects that enhance operational performance.
- Prepare and deliver routine cross-functional reports in collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate and timely business information. Maintain reporting related to material waste, tobacco waste, customs requirements, and quality management systems.
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by identifying potential hazards, complying with safety requirements, and implementing appropriate control measures. Demonstrate safe work practices by reporting incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions while supporting continuous improvement of workplace safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong proficiency in English, with effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across teams and functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to analyze and present operational data.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production technologies, including production processes, equipment, and operational performance standards.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and management systems such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, TQM/TQP, IWS, ISO standards, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
