Job Summary
Support back-office operations for Singapore and Hong Kong Booking Centres by managing data extraction, MIS reporting, regulatory submissions, and trade processing to ensure accurate and timely operational and compliance outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with internal partners and departments to extract data for MIS, audit, and regulatory requests
- Coordinate with stakeholders to compile and submit management information, regulatory reports, and audit data on OTC Derivative products
- Set up market rules and approve trades from the Pretrade Validation queue to ensure compliance with trading policies
- Manage subaccount openings for Trade Processing and Corporate Action teams to support operational workflows
- Participate in User-Acceptance-Testing to validate system changes and enhancements
- Uphold standards of honesty, integrity, due care, diligence, fair dealing, conflict of interest management, and compliance with laws and regulations
- Work with relevant teams to fulfill regulatory requirements and ensure data extraction follows need-to-know principles with proper approvals and controls
- Complete mandatory trainings to maintain competence and compliance
- Review operational processes to identify risks and implement mitigating controls with a risk and control mindset
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels to facilitate smooth operations and issue resolution
- Demonstrate initiative, passion, and teamwork to excel in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Banking or related discipline
- Proficiency in MS Office software including macros to support data analysis and reporting
- Competence in using data extraction tools and management information systems for operational reporting
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with VBA and SQL to enhance data extraction and automation capabilities
- End-to-end knowledge of the private banking value chain to understand operational impacts
