Responsibilities:
- Design cold plates mechanically, including tolerance analysis, TIM selection, thermal simulation and optimization.
- Lead advanced liquid-cooling technology studies and roadmap development.
- Establish cold-plate design guidelines and performance targets for thermal resistance, pressure drop, flow distribution, reliability, and serviceability.
- Evaluate new cold-plate concepts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Drive technical alignment with suppliers, including specification definition and validation requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ME/EE/Reliability/Platform/Vendors) on design reviews, issue triage, and corrective actions.
- Lead root-cause analysis for cold-plate thermal and flow-related failures, and drive containment and long-term fixes.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Thermal engineering with 12+ years in thermal design for electronics cooling.
- Strong hands-on experience with 3D CAD and thermal analysis tools
- Deep expertise in cold plate liquid cooling design and validation
- Proven ability to convert simulation and test insights into production-ready designs
- Strong technical communication skills in English
