Job Description

Strategic Business & Market Development

  • Contribute to and execute against the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for Supermicro's power portfolio, with focus on AI, HPC, Cloud, and Edge segments.
  • Assess new market adjacencies (grid-interactive UPS, BESS, renewables, modular power) and develop supporting business cases for leadership investment decisions.
  • Support land and expand initiatives by identifying enterprise and hyperscale customer requirements; participate in technical negotiations and solution definition.
  • Perform detailed competitive and power-chain analysis, tracking shifts such as 48V distribution, liquid cooling power needs, and AI-driven density to inform product decisions.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior product managers and engineers, fostering a culture of customer focus, analytical rigor, and delivery accountability.
  • Partner with Finance and product leadership to analyze portfolio P&L, pricing models, and ROI for new initiatives, including multi-million-dollar investments.
  • Align Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations on product requirements, release timelines, and go-to-market readiness for power infrastructure solutions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for assigned power products, including market share, customer adoption, new logo revenue, and TCO impact.

Technical Product Ownership & Integration

  • Lead the architectural integration of generators, switchgear, UPS, BESS, PDUs, and rack power into reliable, efficient data center power solutions.
  • Translate high-level market requirements into detailed technical specifications and engineering priorities for AI factories and liquid-cooled rack deployments.
  • Drive continuous process improvements across product development lifecycles to enhance team velocity, product quality, and time-to-market.

Customer & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Act as the technical product authority and subject matter expert for Fortune 500/Global 2000 customers, building trusted relationships to secure design wins and landmark deals.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Channel teams to develop go-to-market strategies, technical enablement tools, and competitive battle cards for new customer segments.
  • Build and manage technology partnerships with power component vendors, UPS/switchgear manufacturers, renewable providers, and hyperscale engineering teams to create joint solutions.
