As a Principal Facilities Engineer of Gas and Chemical Expert, you'll lead and manage semiconductor facility systems across both operational and construction phases. Ensure system reliability, safety compliance, and support fab expansion projects from design through ramp-up. Key responsibilities includeds below.
Oversee daily operations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance (PM), and emergency response planning.
Manage gas and chemical delivery systems (e.g., bulk tanks, cylinders, slurry systems).
Conduct routine inspections, fault diagnostics, spare parts management, and on-site training.
Lead facility system design, construction supervision, equipment commissioning, and production ramp-up for new fabs.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
Support system selection, technical evaluation, and cost control during fab build-out.
Analyze and improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to implement engineering solutions.
Serve as a technical mentor for junior engineers and support team knowledge transfer.
Promote team-based ownership and horizontal support structures.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
5 years or above of experience in semiconductor facility operations or fab construction.
Proficient in Bulk/Specialty Gas/Chemical systems.
Skilled in AutoCAD, TPM, JHA analysis, and EHS compliance
Shift: Day shift and on-call support as needed
Experience with fab construction projects at Micron, TSMC, or other major semiconductor companies.
Certified in hazardous chemical handling, air pollution control, or equivalent.
Strong multi-functional communication and project management skills.
