Job Description

  • Lead new power module product development from concept definition through qualification and release
  • Define technical feasibility, architecture, simulations, and validation plans
  • Develop and maintain product and technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy
  • Collaborate with global R&D teams, applications engineers, and product marketing
  • Engage with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to support product success
  • Drive innovation in power conversion topologies, packaging, magnetics, and thermal solutions
  • Identify technical risks, define mitigation plans, and ensure milestone achievement
  • Improve development flows using advanced tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Prepare and deliver technical documentation and design reviews
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • 8+ years of industry experience in switching power converter design and applications
  • Strong fundamentals in analog circuits, power electronics, and control systems
  • Proven expertise in non‑isolated and isolated topologies (Buck, Boost, Flyback, Forward, Bridge types)
  • Hands‑on experience with power converter modelling, loop compensation, and performance optimisation
  • Proficient with simulation and analysis tools (e.g. SPICE, Simplis, MATLAB, electromagnetic and thermal tools)
  • Strong laboratory debugging and hardware validation skills
  • Knowledge of magnetics design, thermal analysis, and power packaging
  • Familiarity with digital power management, I²C and PMBus
  • Exposure to firmware, digital power controllers, FPGA, or analog IC design is a plus
  • Excellent technical communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, global engineering teams
