1 Role- PostgreSQL DBA

2 Required Technical Skill Set- Strong Technical proficiency in PostgreSQL Database, minimum of 4-years on administrating and optimizing PostgreSQL Databases

3 No of Requirements- 4

4 Desired Experience Range 4-8 years

5 Location of Requirement- Hyderabad/ Mumbai / Bangalore (on rotation)

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

· PostgreSQL Database Administration experience

· Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.

Good-to-Have

Other Database Administration like Oracle, Oracle Goldengate, MySQL, MongoDB and MemSQL

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Recommends solutions by defining the physical structure and function capabilities, database security, data back-ups and recovery specifications

2 Implements and maintain Enterprise systems that runs on PostgreSQL database.

3 Maintain, Monitor and support complex and critical Database

4 Perform database updated and patches to support the system

5 Work with Developers to review the SQL changes to the application software and make recommendation when needed

6 Owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests
