Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in a health / biomedical science-related discipline (ii) previous experience in at least one of the following research areas: (1) human-based translational research, e.g. in immunology, cutaneous / cancer biology (2) clinical research or (3) transcriptomics / bioinformatics (iii) experience in developing programmes of research, coordinating research projects and preparing manuscripts (iv) a good track record in basic / clinical research and publications and (v) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Duties include (a) assisting the Principal Investigator with research project conduction and management (b) assisting in platform establishment and maintenance (c) conducting laboratory-based translational and clinical research projects and assisting in data analysis and (d) assisting in preparing academic publications. He/She will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
