The Department of Social Work invites applications for the positions of Postdoctoral Fellow(s) / Research Associate(s) to support research projects related to aging.
Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Gerontology, Social Welfare, Social Policy, Public Health or social science related disciplines (ii) publication records in high-impact-factor journals (e.g., SSCI/SCIE) and (iii) strong knowledge and skills in quantitative research and conducting advanced data analysis (e.g., SEM, dyadic data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, or other advanced data analysis). Experience in analyzing secondary datasets (e.g., HRS, CHARLS, CLHLS) is highly preferred. Having background or strong interest in aging research is preferred.
The appointee(s) will assist the Principal Investigator and her local and international team members. Duties include (a) drafting research reports to publish in high-impact-factor SSCI/ SCIE journals (b) analysing, collecting, and managing data (c) providing assistance in writing research proposal for external grants (d) providing assistance in supporting international/local research projects and collaboration and (e) assisting with research-related business, administrative work, and other assigned duties. The appointee(s) will have ample opportunities to co-author manuscripts and present at international aging conferences along with the research team.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
