Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Nursing (Ref: 536958) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Public Health, Education, Social Work, or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), alongside strong interpersonal and organisational skills. They should be responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Knowledge of sexual health and sexuality education or educational psychology, as well as prior experience in conducting social welfare research, working with non-governmental organisations (NGOs), or working with primary/secondary schools, is highly preferred.

The appointee will work closely with the Principal Investigator and the research team on an evaluation study examining the impact of a territory-wide comprehensive sexuality education on students and parents in Hong Kong. Working as a project manager, the appointee will oversee the project and team members, reporting directly to the Principal Investigator.

Main responsibilities include data management and analysis, preparation of research and progress reports as well as high-quality manuscripts, presentation of research findings at local and international conferences, supervision of junior research staff, and liaison with a funding body, partner NGOs, and local schools in Hong Kong for smooth project implementation.
