Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
The investment management of Taiwan Equity portfolios with the focus on Absolute return strategy and Relative return strategy (concentrated on Alpha generation portion) in Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed the investment performance objectives for fund/mandate portfolios assigned to manage.
- Ensure that the portfolios are managed in accordance with the stated investment process/ client requirement/ risk profile.
- Provides market outlook and portfolios updates to clients in Taiwan.
- Provide investment research and investment ideas to Taiwan Equity, Asian Equity, Emerging Market Equity and Related Parties.
- Co-work with institutional sales team (Client Group) to expand the business by win the mandates continuously.
- Ensure that personal training is sufficiently undertaken each year to satisfy threshold competency requirements.
- Always in compliance with internal compliance and laws applied to the industry.
- Maintain internal stock pool coverage/ ESG status reports for the coverages.
Qualifications
- Degree graduate in Economics, Finance or Business
- CFA or advanced degree (or equivalent) is a plus
- 15+ years of relevant working experience in Taiwan Equity research/ portfolio management
- Strong Taiwan equity fund/ mandate management performance track record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill in Mandarin and English.
- Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
- With Senior Securities Broker Certificate or Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Broker.
