How will you make an impact in this role
We are looking for professional Travel & Lifestyle Consultants with a great service mind-set to join our energetic and engaging team that is focused on employee development and achieving superior performance. You will be rewarded for delivering exceptional service to our premium cardmembers and for generating revenue for the business.
As a Travel & Lifestyle Consultant at American Express, you will be expected to:
Service international and domestic travel bookings, particularly within the high-end luxury travel segment; including Flight Tickets, Hotels, Car Rental, Tours, Trains, and even Cruises and Private Jets.
Provide professional consultations on how best to arrange a business or leisure trip, end-to-end. Supply them with options & alternatives, analyze the pros & cons to assist them in decision making, when required.
Fulfill Lifestyle requests, i.e., Dining, Limousine Transfers, Tickets to Recreation and Sport Events, SPA & Fitness, Flowers, Merchandise and Gift Purchase; offer recommendations when needed.
Sell ready-made group tours and/or travel packages organized by the company.
Meet and exceed customer expectations.
Create and maintain customer engagement and customer profile.
Understand and use the telephony and CRM systems to optimize service delivery to customers. Meet agreed service levels and compliance requirements.

Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, and the Internet.
Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to identify and fulfill Card Member needs in a time-critical manner; prioritize workload and cope with changing work demands.
Ability to think laterally and multi-task.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
Knowledge of air fares and Sabre advantageous.
Superior knowledge of restaurants, theatre, premium retail products and services, fashion and sports advantageous.
Language: English required, Japanese advantageous.
