A global electronics manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Plant Finance Controller to lead the finance function across two manufacturing operations in Taiwan.
Job Description
- Lead financial planning, performance management and decision support across two manufacturing operations.
- Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to understand products, customers, cost structures, capacity and key operational drivers.
- Lead periodic business and financial reviews, highlighting performance gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse manufacturing costs, operational efficiency, product mix, utilisation and other factors affecting plant profitability.
- Translate financial and operational data into practical recommendations for senior management.
- Evaluate capital expenditure, capacity expansion, new-product and other strategic investment proposals.
- Develop financial models and management reporting tools that support faster and more informed decisions.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams on business analysis, transformation initiatives and process-improvement projects.
- Lead and develop a lean plant finance team, promoting accountability, knowledge sharing and collaborative problem solving.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and analytical capabilities.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, costing or business analysis.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading people, projects or cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical, financial-modelling and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to organise and communicate complex information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using enterprise ERP and financial-reporting systems.
