About Our Client

A global electronics manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Plant Finance Controller to lead the finance function across two manufacturing operations in Taiwan.

Job Description

  • Lead financial planning, performance management and decision support across two manufacturing operations.
  • Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to understand products, customers, cost structures, capacity and key operational drivers.
  • Lead periodic business and financial reviews, highlighting performance gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyse manufacturing costs, operational efficiency, product mix, utilisation and other factors affecting plant profitability.
  • Translate financial and operational data into practical recommendations for senior management.
  • Evaluate capital expenditure, capacity expansion, new-product and other strategic investment proposals.
  • Develop financial models and management reporting tools that support faster and more informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams on business analysis, transformation initiatives and process-improvement projects.
  • Lead and develop a lean plant finance team, promoting accountability, knowledge sharing and collaborative problem solving.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and analytical capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, costing or business analysis.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people, projects or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, financial-modelling and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to organise and communicate complex information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using enterprise ERP and financial-reporting systems.

What's on Offer

  • Experience in manufacturing costing, operations finance, plant controlling or operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and manufacturing performance indicators.
  • FP&A experience involving driver-based modelling, investment analysis and operational strategy.
  • Experience using major ERP, business-intelligence or consolidation platforms.
