The Planning Manager for Taiwan leads end-to-end (E2E) planning and the Customer Service (CS) organization to deliver reliable product availability, best-in-class customer experience, and business growth. This role owns Taiwan's S&OP/IBP planning cadence, partners closely with TW commercial teams, and serves as the TW Supply Chain OBL (Operations Business Leader) to orchestrate cross-functional execution and communication between Supply Chain and the business. Success requires strong leadership, crisp stakeholder communication, collaboration at speed, and sharp business acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Taiwan's demand, supply, and inventory planning processes to meet service, cost, and cash targets.
- Lead the Supply Review and represent Supply Planning in Demand Review as part of S&OP.
- Balance supply/demand in abnormal situations and resolve through structured exception management.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and maintain transparent project/risks/benefits lists.
- Partner closely with TW Sales/Marketing on demand shaping, promotions, and NPI/conversions.
- Collaborate with regional/global SC functions to ensure resilient supply and inventory optimization.
- Define and deliver KPIs (Service level, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory turns, Schedule adherence).
- Drive TPM/Lean and digital analytics to improve responsiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, regulatory, trade, and company policies.
- Lead, coach, and develop the planning and CS teams; foster a culture of accountability and agility.
